Description
You are bidding on two partial spools of what I believe are Lead - Silver alloy solders. Included are:a partial spool of Kirkson "Dutch Boy" Grade K975 Solid Wire Solder on a spool. I have no idea what K975 means or what alloy this is. I suspect this may be a spool of the Pb97.5Ag2.5 solder used during WWII to conserve tin, in which case it's really only good as a collectible, This is a partial spool with approx 3/4 Lb of solder still left.
a partial spool of Kester Solid Wire Solder on a spool. On the label it indicates this is 5 1/2 S / 94 1/2 L. 0.025" diameter. I suspect this may be a spool of the Pb94.5.5Ag5.5 solder. This is a partial spool with approx 3/4 Lb of solder still left.
These alloys perform poorly for electronic soldering.
Not sure what these solders are good for, unless you can figure out how to extract the silver.
Items shown in pictures are what you will receive.
