PABLO ESCOBAR WANTED POSTER REPRINT & BILL WITH ORIGINALSIGNATURE & FINGERPRINT OF BROTHER ROBERTO ESCOBAR
My brother recently visited one of the last known hideouts and former residences of Pablo Escobar in Medellin, Colombia. In fact, Pablo celebrated his birthday in this hideout the day before he was killed in a shootout with Colombian police. The home is currently occupied by Roberto Escobar, Pablo's brother and the former accountant of the Medellin Drug Cartel. Roberto operates a "museum" at the residence, which is more often closed than open by the Colombian police (reportedly due to a lack of proper permits). My brother visited Medellin in December of 2020 and was able to get into the museum.
While at the museum, my brother purchased reprints of a wanted poster and other memorabilia signed and fingerprinted by Roberto (see my other items for sale). The reprint is a photo of an original poster that dates from the 1980's and pictures both Pablo and Roberto Escobar with a 10 million dollar (US) reward. Also pictured are numerous other members of the Medellin cartel with rewards of either 5 million or 2 million dollars. The poster is printed on 8 1/2" x 11" photo paper, which my brother witnessed Roberto sign and fingerprint.
My brother also had some American and Colombian currency signed and fingerprinted by Roberto, including this bill (a special request). The front side of the bill also has a special bear stamp with his name "ROBERTO ESCOBAR GAVIRIA" and "OSITTO", which represents his nickname "
El Osito
" (Little Bear). On the back side, Roberto added a facsimile signature of Pablo (stamped signature, not original). The last two photos in this listing show Roberto holding up one of the posters he signed for us, as well as him signing one of the bills. I will also send the buyer photos and videos of Roberto signing one of each of these items (he signed several for us) via email after the purchase.
Roberto de Jesús Escobar Gaviria (born January 13, 1947) was the brother of drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, and is the closest living relative of Pablo, except for his son Juan Pablo. Roberto was the former accountant of the Medellin Cartel, which was responsible for up to 80 percent of the cocaine smuggled into the United States and reportedly brought in 0 million per week in revenue. For his part in the operations of the Medellin Cartel, Roberto was imprisoned. He escaped with his brother in July 1992 but surrendered to authorities a year later. On December 18, 1993, while still in prison, he was blinded in one eye by a letter bomb sent by
Los Pepes
, a paramilitary group funded by the Cali Cartel. After more than 10 years, he was released from prison, and he now lives in the residence last occupied by Pablo before he was killed by the Colombian Search Bloc in 1993.
Other cartel members pictured on the wanted poster include:
Million Reward
Gonzalo Rodriguez Gacha, "
El Mexicano
", leader in cartel killed by police in 1989
Juan David Ochoa Vazquez, one of cartel founders, imprisoned 1991-1996, died of heart attack in 2013
Jorge Luis Ochoa Vazquez, one of cartel founders, released from prison in 1996
Fabio Ochoa Vazquez, youngest of Ochoa brothers, former cartel leader, currently in U.S. federal prison
Gustavo De Jesus Gaviria Rivero, cousin of Pablo, believed killed by Search Bloc in 1990
Million Reward
Otoniel de Jesus Gonzalez Franco, "
Otto
", cartel security, released from prison in 2001, murdered in 2002
Carlos Alzate, "
El Arete
", son of Roberto Escobar's wife, released from prison in 2001
Juan Yepes Florez, "
John Lada
", friend of Pablo and cartel member
Jorge Pabon, "El Negro", friend of Pablo and cartel security member
"Cacho Chino" (not sure of his real name or role in cartel)
This wanted poster photo and bill are GUARANTEED to be hand signed and fingerprinted by Roberto Escobar. The top left corner of the photo also has the "Little Bear" stamp. There is no Certificate of Authenticity because Roberto considers his fingerprint to be better than a COA. As I mentioned earlier, this photo and bill were obtained directly from Roberto in December 2020. If you have any concerns regarding the authenticity of these items, please feel free to check out my positive feedback and bid with confidence from a trusted seller.
Condition of this Roberto Escobar signed wanted poster and bill is EXCELLENT. Both items have been well protected in an envelope since they were obtained. The bill has been circulated but is in good shape. The fingerprint is a little hard to see, but definitely there. Both pieces display well and would make a fine addition to any Narcos memorabilia collection. Please take a close look at the many photos I've provided and judge condition for yourself. I'm confident you'll be very pleased with this purchase.
If you collect crime-related historical memorabilia or you're a fan of the Netflix series "Narcos", don't miss your opportunity to bid on this offering. These signed posters were only available to the few people who were able to gain access to Roberto's "museum". And the signed bill was a special request item. My BUY IT NOW price of only 9 with FREE SHIPPING is a bargain. So buy these items now before someone else beats you to the deal!
