Description
This wood, hand painted, collectible, rare sign/painting of Capone is from The Hideout in Couderay,Wisconsin where Al Capone,
America's most notorious gangster, built a gangland hideout in Wisconsin's North woods in the mid-1920s.
In Capone's heyday, this is one of the places he would go to "get away from it all".
It was privately operated as Al Capone's Hideout.
The Hideout was purchased by a family and became a bar and a tourist attraction after Capone's time there.
According to the previous owner of the property, when it became a tourist attraction and bar, the sign sat in front of the French doors leading into the dining room. When people took a tour through the building, it was used to restrict them from going into the dining room.
This would be a great addition to your collection or hanging in your man cave. Have a piece of history! The sign has a 38" diameter. Ships via USPS to the lower 48 states only. See photographs for details. Thanks for looking!
